Hilti is a corporation based in Liechtenstein with almost 20.000 employees in more than 120 countries, world famous for its professional tools and civil engineering systems. Hilti PROFIS Anchor solution makes it easy and effective for civil engineers to design optimal concrete-based fastening projects with mechanical or chemical anchors. Intuitive and friendly user interface leads the user throughout the design process. It can easily be applied to new regions, language areas and security standards. It has already been translated into 18 languages and is compliant with security standards of Europe and America. Hilti Corporation uses it for sales activities, as well as engineering design projects. Their partners can use it free of charge.
Hilti Corporation required a solution, that would allow their users – employees, that are active in sales and need to design fastening solutions, and customers as well – select the most appropriate product for certain project requirements. With the use of this custom software, that Agito has developed, sales engineers easier conduct sales and marketing. The gap between design and execution has narrowed, project preparation times have dropped substantially and eventually the products themselves are applied and installed correctly. By the end of this year we expect to have between 30.000 and 40.000 downloads of this solution, which is undoubtedly of key significance for continuous growth of customer trust in Hilti products, that is already high. Hilti PROFIS Anchor is just one of the apllications that we develop for Hilti Corporation.
User interface concept that we’ve developed for Hilti PROFIS Anchor turned out to be a milestone for Hilti and later became a standard for all their custom developed engineering applications.
