The hall sensors recognise the card and the animated character directs (with speech and facial expressions) the visitor to the right place with the help of installed monitors. At Agito we have a wealth of experience in developing complex solutions, as we have created animations for events such as fairs. The animations are produced in real time. A person in the background speaks into a microphone, whereby we analyse the text with a 'speech-to-text' generator and then convert the acquired phonemes into visual units (facial expression). We then synchronise the speech with the facial expressions.
This produces an animated character that speaks and responds with a one-second delay (almost in real time). In other words, this type of animation could, for example, host television shows, so that somebody behind the scene would speak into the microphone (talk freely) and the system would produce speech + facially mimic the animated character with a one-second lag.
